Lazy Sunday

The day before my trip to El Paso, we spent some quality time lounging around the house in our PJ's. First up, helping with the laundry.

Here we are today, just before a playdate. And here is Mary yesterday, on her "leash." I never thought I'd be a leash person, but she won't hold my hand to walk most of the time anymore, and she likes to dart off.

Long Sleeves

Mary wore long sleeves for the first time this year, in the hope that Fall weather would follow. It was only 86 degrees today, so we're off to a good start.

Mary fell out by the pool and scraped and sliced up her knees on the pebbles (I wish we could install smooth concrete!). It was very sad, but she was a big girl and hardly cried. So, here are the wounds:

Getting Ready To Go

Mary loves to put on her shoes and get ready to go. Here she's going to Grandma & Grandpa's to see Aunt Renee, and then we are going out to dinner with the Hagoods.

Sweet Girl

Such a sweetheart. She got her little headband over at Grandma's. But, she'll only wear it over there and takes it off as soon as she gets home.

Bathtime Was Going So Well, Until.....

the post-bath naked time lasted just a minute too long. Not only did she wet the carpet, she ran back and forth past her dad, tapping him on the head as she passed, mocking him as he cleaned up her puddle.

A New Toy

Mary was so good at Costco (which she calls "Caca") yesterday. She has gotten so bored with her toys, so I picked up this garage/heliport toy. She seems to like it.
