We love our Greater Roadrunner neighbors (a/k/a geococcyx californianus), which abound due to our proximity to a canyon. They are usually too quick for us to get a still photograph, but this guy has been hanging around all week and, for whatever reason, getting into it with a pair of mockingbirds. Mary has enjoyed watching the drama unfold through the kitchen window.
